Were ready when you are

a few things first
Under no circumstances should you bring your child to gymnastics if they, or anyone else in your family or friends circle has Coronavirus symptoms.

At a glance

General

  • We have staggered start and finish times to ensure groups do not mix and allow for social distancing

  • We are following closely guide lines set by the Government and British gymnastics.

  • A one-way system is in place and everyone is asked to maintain social distancing

  • Thorough cleaning is maintained of all equipment between classes and sessions and end of the day.

  • Parents are not allowed to stay inside the venue at this time and must ensure their child(ren) are dropped off and picked up at the door.

  • As another precaution for our gymnasts, everyone's temperature will be taken using a 'None Contact' digital thermometer.

  • The viewing area is closed!!

  • Gymnasts will need to bring their own hand sanitiser, drinking water, and a bag to put their shoes/socks and all of their belongings in.

  • Our coaches will guide gymnasts through the session ensuring social distancing is maintained.

Badge classes

Payment for the month must be paid on the 'FIRST' session of each month. The exact right amount of cash must be sealed in an envelope with gymnasts name and class written on. We have a special post box these will be placed in.
GYMNASTS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO TRAIN AND TURNED AWAY IF YOU DO NOT PAY IN FULL ON THE FIRST SESSION OF THE MONTH!!
Fees are now calculated over a 12 month period with Christmas shutdown taken in to consideration and the fact some months may have 5 training sessions and some only 4 sessions within the month.
The correct amount of cash must be sealed in an envelope with name and class written on which will then go into a special post box.
If you pay by transfer, proof of this must be shown to the coach on the door. Either a print out or a simple screen shot for example of the transfer.
NO FEES, NO TRAINING!!!!!
Bring your gymnast to the door and wait until the coach has taken their temperature and ensured you have all the required things with them ready to train.

Please be on time as badge class will only have the 1 hour time slot and no longer, as the venue has to be scrubbed ready for the next session.
Gymnasts must have their own hand sanitiser and take home with them their own litter.
Gymnasts must have a bag to put in their outside clothes and take round with them.

Supporting and Social Distancing

Coaches are unable to support gymnasts through skills at this time due to following social distancing. However, coaches will always be close by to help recover a falling gymnast.  We have bought new equipment will give gymnasts help and support where coaches would have been until coaches are advised to start to support. The revised programme has more space to allow for spaced out set ups. Coaches and gymnasts are not required to wear masks at this time.

Cleaning

The venue is cleaned and inspected at the end of every single session and again between classes.
Coaches also thoroughly clean all equipment and 'Touchable Areas' and the end of each day.
No rubbish/litter is kept in the gym and everyone takes home their own litter.
